City-Days
Cities are places
where Hell masquerades
in multiplex forms.
Devils unleashed;
crimes increased;
developments take place
at the cost of lives.
Anonymity rules over
and hanging like the
Damocles swords
over the fragile heads
of poverty-driven and
economic-dripped citizens.
Citizens of non-real city
wandering from place to place
marketing humanity
for valueless money
after the night-born demonitisation.
Children of mid-day meals
carrying the plates filled
by empty hands.

Banners and banquets
of politics and cosmoculture
are placed along the road sides.
River banks and money banks
are bankrupted.
M-Sand and e-money
flow like the polluted Ganges.
The Ganges forever flows into
emptiness
from centreless cities.

Parted Apartments
He lives in a multiplex,
where neighborhood is emptiness-
a meaningless concept.
Doors forever shut;
windows forever closed;
hearts forever locked.
Life in parted-apartments
is a soul-struck weapon.
The double edged knife
kills both the owner and the tenant.
Modern gadgets;
uncivilized  minds;
artistic Intelligence,
antique mentality.

Oh Cities!
Where do you go?
Where do you exist?
The lost soul of cities
wanders through the dark midnights
along with real ghosts.

Human beings- the unreal ghosts-
live in structured burial grounds.
Modern cities are strangled cities;
modern cities are murdered cities.
Modernity is nudity
in ignorance,
where knowing is a curse.
