Md. Ziaul Haque, MA (English), originally from Zakiganj,
Sylhet, Bangladesh, is presently a teacher of English Language and Literature
at the University of Creative Technology, Chittagong. An
international award-winning poet, writer, and researcher, he has published 49
books at home and in America, England, and Germany. Considered ‘The Poet of Creativity’ by the readers,
he has invented many literary and poetic forms and written in them: ‘Poetenry’/
‘Tennet’ (Poems of Ten Lines), ‘Kurine’ (Poems of Twenty Lines), ‘Fiverse’ (Poems
of Five Lines), ‘Poestory’ (Poetry + Story], ‘Haqueian Verse’ et al. For his Bangla writings his pen name is ‘Shobdoraj’
(King of Words). An optimist and friendly by nature, his favourite pastime
activities include playing chess, listening to good music, angling, acting,
occasional theatre directing, and dreaming of producing movies.
