An alumnus of University of
Calcutta, Neelima Chakraborty seeks comfort in the world of poems. Born in
Bagdogra, West Bengal, she lends voice to those who live in the periphery in
her works. With over ten years of cumulative teaching experience in prestigious
educational institutions such as Patha Bhavan, Kolkata, Gokhale Memorial Girls’
School, Kolkata and Manav Rachna International School, Sec-14, Faridabad, she
continues to follow her passion of writing poems and short stories. Her poems
have been previously published in Teesta Review (Volume 3, Number 1), Peacocks in a Dream (An anthology of contemporary Indian English
