Calm Chord

For the ‘best picture of peace,’
a king once offered a reward.
Among the multitude, two paintings stood out –
calm lake, towering mountains, blue sky
fluffy white clouds – Classical Creation!
The other artwork - bare, rugged mountains,
menacing skies, lightning flashes, lashing rains,
foaming waterfall…behind the waterfall,
a tiny bush, upon which sat a tiny bird
in her nest – Identifiable Melody.
Human thoughts, behaviors, emotions, development
Attitudes and appearances ever in a state of flux
Changing climes, natural disasters, and threats of Nature.
Mastering artificial intelligence over common sense,
Discovering vaccines for virulent diseases, paradoxically,
amassing weapons of destruction…
Longevity sans quality – the dichotomy of existence.
A group of chords creates ‘harmonic tension.’
Focusing on the ‘theme,’ releasing the tension with a ‘calm
chord’
brings along the ‘resolution.’– the Divinity Within!
