The Womb: An Easeful Abode

--- Ishani Saha

What is the essence of your ROOM?

Find some time and discover the womb.

The chair you sit down,

The book you read,

The bed you lay down,

The quilt you sleep,

The shelves, you pour

The cupboard, you fill

The busy schedule you made,

The leisure you spent,

Are they the true means of the essence?

What is the essence of your ROOM?

Do find and discover the womb.

An expedition by train, taxi and plane!

If the closure envisages your pillow again!

You will cast to sway by meditative chain.

Hold on!  And behold the priceless premises...

Congeal yourself and pull your eyes,

To the departed dusk and erstwhile smile.

The ordinary vision and the stream of sense,

Pushing you back to taste ‘the drained’.

Isn’t it the real essence of your ROOM?

Isn’t that the womb of present ‘You’, my friend?

What is the essence of your ROOM?

Do visit the womb of your growing present.

To The Divine

--- Ishani Saha

There is no limit or boundary

When I meet You through,

And You pass through me.

Your existence, presence, and fragrance;

All I know, is your mighty embrace,

That entered into me and enhanced this existence.

The beauty and pleasure and all

That I cannot measure in parts,

When the ‘You’ is infinite,

The ‘I’ know no limit.
