No Bridges Anymore

Sitas would never get enchanted by a deer!

Not anymore!

Full-stop.

No comma, no ellipse, no exclamation.

It’s a simple full-stop.

Where are the deers anymore?

Tigers or lions

To attack them and prey on them

Have also vanished.

Humans have preyed on all animals –

The wildest of the wild!

Not only the deers, lions and tigers are no more,

Gone are the ‘Vanars’ too

Who once built the bridge to Lanka

To let Rama meet his Sita!

Now, there will be no bridges of love!

There will only be destruction and chaos,

For humans are acquiring the wild characteristics

And are out to kill each other!
