Shadows of the Children
So it gets quite hot in the room
feeling the cold sweat
who would not wake up!

Sensing Children in the room
sensing toddlers
sensing 2 - 8 year olds

As vulnerable they can be
still developing an emotional development
still developing intellectual development

Some are smiling
some are giggling
some are shocked

Confusion rising
why were we ripped?
why were we taken advantage of?

For a second – just one second
a scene was shared
on how they died – abuse - rape

I freeze
I pray
I hug

They giggled
they hugged me back
they disappeared

Confuzzled

When can you tell your emotions to stop?
It’s pretty much on its own configuration
Puzzlement on its dancing shoes
People seem to be holding on to PRIDE
Living someone else’s thoughts
For this bewilders the ticking clock.

Sipping the Latte
Continuous eye movements
Looking out the open window
Hearing Crows cawing at my confusion
Scribbles on the paper
For I am reminiscing some moments.

Some things come to an end
No warning - just a swift change
Pattern of things change
Deliberate forces of nature
As if nature was watching a movie
Persuading to become someone else.

Holistic anatomy in disturbance
Tears of hope pay a visit
Time heals the CONFUZZLE-MENT
Awareness of newness - acceptance
Somewhere someone’s self-realization will awaken
If it does – hoping I may still be around!
