Shyamasri Maji
is an Assistant Professor in English at Durgapur Women’s College, West Bengal,
India. She completed her PhD in English from the University of Burdwan (India).
Areas of her research interest include Diasporic Studies, Postcolonial
literature and the Anglo-Indian community. Her articles have been published in
international journals such as Antipodes, Indialogs, Doc On-Line,
International Journal of Anglo-Indian Studies and Third World Thematics.
Her book reviews have been published in Asiatic: IIUM Journal of English
Language and Literature. She is the recipient of Independent Research
Fellowship 2018-19 at Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata. Her short stories have been published in Unish
Kuri (ABP), Muse India, Six Seasons Review, Story Mirror,
Dark Nights and Eerie Shadows and The Bombay Review. Her
poems have been published in Setu, Kolkata Fusion, Indian Periodical,
