Swagata Ghosh is
an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of North Bengal. She was
given a few merits like Gold Medalist for both her Graduation and
Post-Graduation Studies on Philosophy, at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, and
stood First among the entire faculty of Humanities and Best Girl Graduate Award
for outstanding academic performance. She has received 11 gold medals in
different categories of her academic discipline besides being the recipient of
3 Scholarships of national level, and also the National Merit Award from the
Government of India, 2010. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. research work on
Consciousness Studies from the perspective of Indian Philosophy, from Jadavpur
University. Her poems in Bengali are regularly published in reputed Bengali
dailies, and also in esteemed magazines of Kolkata and Siliguri, including Nandimukh
and Uttorer Kobimon respectively. Her article on communication in the
post-pandemic new normal era has previously been published in the esteemed blog
of Café Dissensus magazine.
