General Guidelines for Submission
Every issue may have
its own slightly different rules and ways of handling submissions. The
following may be considered the general guidelines for submission:
1. Editors have the
right to reject unsuitable work. Acceptance of submission does not imply acceptance
for publication.
2. Follow Call for
Submission (CFS) carefully. Include a title and a brief bio (in third person)
and a high resolution photograph, address for correspondence and email. No
postal submissions are being accepted presently. The cover letter should be
simple, to the point. Do not include any unwanted information.
3. Keep a copy of your
submission. The editorial board will not be responsible for the loss of your
work.
4. Plagiarism
Teesta Review
requests contributors to take issues of copyright infringement, plagiarism or
other breaches in publication seriously.
5. Permissions
Contributors should
take permission from copyright holders for reproducing any illustrations,
tables, figures or quotations previously published elsewhere. In case of
translations submissions should be accompanied by an NOC form the poet of
Source Language.
6. Articles
Please ensure that you
follow the citation style as mentioned in CFS. It is important to keep
word limit. Attach as MS word document, Times New Roman, 12 pts., double
spacing.
Poems
Poets can submit up to
5 poems previously unpublished in any form. We avoid work that hurt other’s
religious sentiments. Attach as MS word document. Times New Roman, 12 pts.,
double spacing.
Artwork
Illustrations, photographs,
paintings, sketches, up to 5, relevant to current issue should be supplied with
the highest quality of electronic format that would help us publish them in the
best possible way.
In case of articles
carrying pictures, sketches or graphs, they should be placed within the article
where they are to occur.

Simultaneous
submissions are allowed but notify us immediately if your submission is
accepted for publication elsewhere.
